With experience comes skill

At this point I’ve helped about 20 Toyota truck lovers enjoy their trucks more. I can’t lie, the best part about this job is meeting new people who are wild about their trucks!! After all, if you’ve even heard of Tacoma tuning, you’re probably pretty deep down the rabbit hole already. After all, there’s no limit to what you can find (and spend!) to bolt on to your truck, and some of my new customers have had mods that I didn’t knew existed. Some (like the Dashtop Multi Mount and the Sequential Side Mirror Turn Signals) I just had to run out and buy for myself!

When I first tuned my truck, I instantly knew this was the best bang-for-your-buck mod I’d done yet, and this is coming from a guy who’s cracked $20K in aftermarket parts and labor since I took her home in 2016. I had sold my ‘fun car’, my Cobb-tuned Beemer, before I got married so I could be more fiscally responsible. That car drank money after all, but my Tacoma was the responsible choice, right? Little did I know I’d end up spending just as much in upgrades as I used to spend in maintenance and repairs! (Sorry honey!)

Over the last few months, I’ve learned a TON about these trucks, which helps me really drill down the tuning maps for each person’s driving style and preferences. I hope to keep learning more, and keep searching for perfection!

This past weekend, I got to see what offroading in a tuned Taco was like, and the TX weather surprised us with a little snow! So with my buddy Andres and his brand new 4Runner Trail with Icon Stage-5, and my Tacoma TRD Pro and it’s new custom ADS Suspension, we hit the trails out at Hidden Falls Adventure Park.

It. Was. Epic.

I may try to upload some more stuff to this post later, but in the meantime, enjoy my favorite shot of the day!
